COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hog Happy Hefeweizen is a full-flavored, traditional German-style wheat beer that tastes like it comes straight from Munich, but is made with wheat from local farms. The yeast used during fermentation gives this straw-colored beer the sweet flavor and aromas of banana & clove.

Dunno if the problem was following up a sour or the beer itself but this was my least favorite of my samplings. Nothing offensive but short on hefe aromas and flavors

Pours a hazy yellow from a tap, big bubblegum aromas settle more into the classic banana/clove hefeweizen. Good representative, nothing outstanding but certainly nothing bad. Good beer.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. Superb ready taste. Wheat and bread. Some sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation.

weihenweizen (3890) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JUL 6, 2015
Refrigerated brown bomber from AirForceHops poured into a weizen glass. Orange/light brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is clove and some banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and some light lacing. Taste is darker wheat malt, clove, and some banana. On the darker side of the color scale for hefeweizen, good stuff.

Bottle from Un Dun. Slightly dark cloudy orange with lasting head and lace. Cloves and mild banana. Mildly sweet honey/vanilla fruity wheaty tang with mild bitterness and then some farmhouse funk that I don’t think should be there. Infected? Anyhow the funk takes away from the authentic flavor.

Growler enjoyed at home. Very true to German Weiss beer. Enjoyed with friends and family lakeside. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Gusher! Pours lightly hazy gold with a quickly fading white foam head. A little funk in the nose, light yeast. Light sweet flavor with lemony tang, soft brett bite, faint wheat. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Quick and lightly tangy to finish. Tastes off, unfortunately. Meh.
