Loaded with blackberry aroma and flavor. Darker red body with pink head. This was a refreshing sample. So if your in to the fruit beers I would strongly recomend this one. Smelled like you were picking blackbeerys in your garden. TreborWhip (393) - Reading, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2011
On draft at brewpub in Tucson pours ruby red wtih off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts and blueberries. Flavors of blueberries, honey, and candied sugars. Very enjoyable. FlacoAlto (4182) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - DEC 18, 2005

This beer is a lightly hazy, deep amber color with ruby highlights when held up to the light. The head is simply a wispy pale tan head that is really just a ring around the edges. The aroma is sweet and fruity with perhaps a hint of honey aromatics to it, and a fruitiness that is definite, but somewhat non-descript.
The taste is quite sweet; it is almost sticky sweet, but not quite. Honey is definitely evident; there is that sort of astringent note, mixed with a floral type thing that I associate with honey. The fruitiness is quite pronounced, though I can’t quite put my finger on specifics; it is definitely not raspberry dominated. I am actually finding this a lot more easy drinking and enjoyable than I was expecting. Yes it is a simplistic, sweet fruit beer, but it is quite drinkable and even quaffable.
On tap at TCB - Pours a clear deep red, almost purple color with a small pink head. Has a light berry and honey aroma. Has a sweet berry and honey flavor. Heavy on the palate. Medium body. A decent fruit beer. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - SEP 22, 2009
Actually kind of enjoyed this one for its uniqueness. Ruby red/purple pour with a small ivory head that isn’t more than a ring. Aroma is ripe berries (can’t really tell what type) and moderate honey sweetness. Flavor is more definable blackberry...a bit syrupy but good.

On tap at brewpub. Not a huge fan of this one, it pours a clear red almost purple color. Smell was of a dark berry. and the taste was of berrys with some honey in the back end. It wasnt a bad fruit beer just not my fav decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Hazed cherry pour with off white head and lace. Aroma of blackberry and sweet malt. Light blackberry, sweet malt and no bitter. Medium bodied and fizzy. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - SEP 26, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass at the brewpub.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with some red highlights here and there around the glass. Bar pour yielded no head.
The smell started off with a sweet red raspberry and then a light tart raspberry came in to balance and then after that a light sugary sweetness came in.
The taste was mainly sweet through the raspberries but after a while the sugary flavor came back.
On the palate, this one had a tart and sweet raspberry aftertaste that seemed pretty authentic and I would say that this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. The carbonation was decent for the style and for me.
Overall, decent raspberry ale I believe I could take to the dome again. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 8, 2011
Reddish pour, fluffy head. Aroma of sweet berries, honey, graham cracker and oranges. Flavor is sweet, honey, creamy, wheat...interesting at the very least.
