Poured a deep reddish purple color. Very strong honey smell and flavor. A little too overpowering on the honey, not much berry flavor at all. No lingering after taste. Smooth and easy to drink if you can get over the honey flavor. careyj (7) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 19, 2008 does not count
On tap at the Tucson Airport. Berry smell with a strong honey taste. Reminds me of those flavored honey sticks you get in gift shops. A little too sweet for me. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2009
Poured deep red with little white head, taste is full of blackberry with a honey sweetness at the end. For my severe dislike of berry beer, this one didn’t displease too much, as it was very unique. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 13, 2011
tap at brewery-pours a cherry hue with a tinge of carbonation around the rim of the sample glass. nose os sweet sugary fruit-smells like concentrate/extract. extract honey flavors. nothing special here. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 27, 2011
enjoyed the weekend of RBWG 2011on tap pours hazy pinish purple with a thin white head. Aroma is floral with tons of berry. Flavor is much the same with semi-sweet berry and a oat/wheat malt base.

Candy red with a rosy head. Strong syrupy aroma. Likewise, a fruit syrup character carries, more than any real fruit flavors. Unimpressed.
