COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
TCB’s Oatmeal stout is a wonderful surprise. It’s very smooth, not heavy and has a full coffee chocolate-like flavor. We serve this beer under nitrogen from our nitro taps to ensure that cap of thick creamy foam.

On tap at Thunder Canyon, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of oats. Flavour is quite laid back, with toasted malt, a little chalk and even littler cocoa. Weak on the palate with not much going on. Meh.

OmegaX (1375) - Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2014
On tap at the downtown location. Nose is sweet malts and light roast. Pour is dark brown, off white head. Flavor is rather one-dimensional. Sweet toasted malts. Very thin palate. Watery. It’s one of the most refreshing stouts I’ve ever had. Just needs more of everything.

decaturstevo (6341) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Black pour with tan head and lace. Toasted malt and chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate malt, light coffee, and a nice malt bitter. Thin and watery almost like a cask ale offering.

On tap at TCB, pour is a nice black.. but being a NE Ohioian I pit this against GLBC BOStout, and this is a poor representation of the name... while not terrible it possesses everything a solid stout should.. its just not outstanding like its counterpart.

[Tap] Pours a very dark brown color with a small tan head. Roasted cocoa and charred malts in the aroma. Chocolate, vanilla, thin lactose and sweet oat notes in the taste. Sweet, with a lingering roasted finish. Good mouthfeel/body. Nice and sessionable.
