On tap @ TC - Pours a clear dark brown color with a small light tan head. Light lacing. Flavor and aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Medium body. As coffee beers go, this beer is middle of the road. Worth a try. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Growler at the Black Friday Tasting, courtesy of cbkschubert, pours deep infrared to deep ruby red with thin tan head. The aroma is molasses, a touch of dark roasted malts, a bit of oxidation and some coffee. The taste has modest levels of caramel malts, toffee, dark roasted maltiness and modestly roasted coffee beans. The coffee notes grow into the finish. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 29, 2011
Growler at Black Friday from craig--thanks! Dark brown pour. Nice roasted coffee bean and light cocoa aroma. Flavor is much the same, wish it had a little bigger "punch"
