The Granddaddy of Pale Ales, this style got its start as a special brew for English soldiers living in India. Our IPA is a medium bodied ale, with a light copper color characterized by an intense hop flavor, with a full flowery hop aroma and high alcohol content.

mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2016
On tap at Real, Wild & Woody Beer Festival, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable piney hops and biscuity malt in good balance. Flavour is infected with diacetyl, along with piney hops and biscuity malt. Shame about the infection. Could be good, but not as is.

Ferris (16106) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2014
Draft - Orange citrus malts with a caramel backbone. Cooper with a decent white head. Pine and resin with a sweet malt backbone. Light orange and spices are also present. Decent and well balanced IPA.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 24, 2003
Golden with decent head and nice lacing. Aroma is a good grapefruit, some pine, medium sweet. Taste is strong pine/grapefruit, slight sweetness. Firm body. Unexpectedly very nice IPA.

Lubiere (14126) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 27, 2013
An orange amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, biscuit malt over classic smooth floral hops, grapefruit notes, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, grapefruit pulp, very classic and quaffable. On tap at Broadway location.

hopdog (12833) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2007
Growler acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!!!). Poured a medium orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of juicy oranges, orange peels, all around citrus and light pine. Tastes of citrus, floral, and fruity. Starts off sugary sweet and ends in a light grapefruit finish. Definite hop presence with out being a bitter hop bomb.

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Cloudy orange pour. Creamy white head. Citrus hops on the nose! Light caramel, crackers. Flavor is loaded with citrus, lemon/lime zest. Creamy wonderful body. Amazing cask ipa!

arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2009
Pours amber with white head, nose is grapefruit and citrusy hops. Taste initially is grapefruit and citrus, but moves quickly into malty caramel with little to no bitterness. An average IPA, needs the bitterness to round it out.

Sledutah (7762) - Utah, USA - MAR 7, 2011

Iphonephan (7085) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2013
On draft at the brewpub in Tucson. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Dish soap nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Muted fruit hops. Clean finish.

Braudog (6793) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 11, 2004
Nice big head with a good copper color. Decent hoppy aroma. But again the balance is off ... this is too astringent, bitterly hopped without an underpining malt body. Vapid.
