Reviewed from notes. From my AZ trip.
The appearance was a hazy golden color with a light half finger white foamy head(good bar pour), decent light lacing.
The smell had some strong wheat up front like a good APWA should. I do get some lemon and actually don’t know if that’s from the lemon that was put on the side or not, I tried to pull it as quick as possible before it could affect anything.
The taste had a nice wheat bite up front holding its own all the way throughout the entire consumption. The aftertaste had the wheat do but is slightly subdued, no finish.
On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body, somewhat sessionable and the carbonation is decent for the style and for me as there’s nothing obscure, but there’s also a finishing wheat bite sticking to the mouth and tongue.
Overall, this is probably one of the most wheat forward APWA’s I’ve ever had yet still worthy of coming back to. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Hazy straw yellow colored beer with a yeast and grainy aroma with refreshing taste, but far from any significant flavors. Not bad, but nothing I’d drink again. Sublym (78) - Arizona, USA - OCT 6, 2012

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a super cloudy light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of bready/wheaty malt, faint sweetness. Aroma is weak in strength. Flavor is predominantly wheaty/bready with a hint of citrus. Easy to drink, a non-offensive wheat. Could be more complex and flavorful though.
