UPDATED: NOV 19, 2013 650-ml bottle @ hanwant mahal. hazy straw color. sweet. surprised to see it called "8.75%-15% proof", a range as opposed to a specific value and also a combination of % and proof. saw a Green Bee-eater outside in a tree!
ps: had another beer with a similar label, and i see now the idea is 8.75% abv is about equivalent to 15 proof. MarutiGypsy (2) - Ambala, INDIA - JUL 16, 2011 does not count
Wonderful beer with perfect aroma and taste. One of the best beers available in India madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - FEB 28, 2009
Bottle bought in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Light golden coloured Clear. Small white head. Aroma is bready and sweet. Flavour is sweet and sugary. Quite grainy and light smoked. Thin bodied. Dry. Has a grainy and sweet end, where the alcohol really shows it’s teeth at the palate. Maybe a tad better than most of the high ABV Indian beers, but still hard to finish. omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2009
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2009 Bottled (brewed in Punjab, alcohol 5.25-8.25%). Pale golden, no head. Aggressive spicy cardboard aroma. Sweet, thick and very syrupy. An odd burnt smokiness makes it somewhat interesting, but with all that sticky syrup it’s terribly hard to drink. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 17, 2007
