The Travlr tasting at ChrisO’s. Thanks to Gene for all the beers and Chris for hosting. Hazy dark amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy with good fine carbonation. Sweet creamy malts. Sweet esters. Trace of thin dark chocolate. Light finish. Passable.
This smells like corn--and I guess there is corn in it so that makes sense. Otherwise it is fairly bland with a touch of roast character. It’s got a nice creamy texture which is its best feature. No real off flavors either. Not bad.
