2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I had seen this on tap but passed it by. So I am now rating from a can as I was pleased with their canned IPA. This pours a hazy medium gold color with a long lasting bright white head. The nose has the strong notes of honey to complement a floral character. There is also some biscuit. This tastes of sweet honey and flowers. The finish is boozy almost like it has some young mead dumped into it. The honey character is overwhelming. The warming alcohol is distracting with hints of almonds.
Smells of dried wheat or hay that got wet. This reminds of Wolavers organic honey wheat but doesn't capture the honey as well as that. You can catch a little honey up front but it fads quickly and you don't have any of the floral citrus or clover of the honey left. Very light and drinkable but not necessarily something I would go out of my way for.

>> Clear light golden pour, weaker foam, Nose is old and sticky, burnt caramel, butterscotch. Taste is white sugar, hydrogen peroxide, suddy and bland. Stickier, sickly, cloying sugar.
Can. Golden with one finger head. Bland, light honey sweetness. Just doesn’t go anywhere at all. Alcohol is amazingly well hidden. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUN 21, 2015
