A half finger of head on a dark amber colored body.
The aroma is mild grapefruit and faint overall.
There’s a solid lemon bitterness in the taste. It’s straight forward and bold.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It’s a "no-frills" IPA and build well. cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Can @ hotel room. Not sure if this should be a new entry or not, but this is titled "Cropduster Mid-American IPA". 6.5% abv. Pours a hazy golden appearance with a nice, off white head. Mild tropical fruit (pineapple, passionfruit, mango), a bit spicy, zesty aroma. Tangy, creamy, citrus fruity, mango, orange, pineapple, somewhat herbal bitter flavor. Pretty tasty and easy to drink. heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - APR 29, 2012
Tap at Urbandale Chicken Coop. Slightly hazy bright bronze orange. Nose of grapefruit and dough. Some peanuts. Taste is dry grapefruit rind and hay. There is a little bit of bread crust. Ok, but more like an APA. csaso (2361) - Missouri, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Tap - "Darens Dream IPA" - Tap - no head at all, dark straw color, very bitter hop flavor and aroma, pretty flat not much carbonation - not the best IPA GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - JUL 30, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Really not much to it--not an IPA worth drinking particularly. It was certainly drinkable, but I didn’t stick around for another beer.

Poured into a pint glass.
A: Pale orange/dark yellow. Aggressive pour gave little head, but what was there laced really thick.
S: Mild aroma of floral and grassy hops. Some spice and citrus.
T: Pleasantly bitter, the way I like my IPAs. Spicier than the smell would suggest. Biscuit malts and grapefruit. Bold, like all beer should be, but not off putting.
M: Not creamy, but smooth with a good amount of carbonation.
D: Tasty and bold (great for not getting bored). Cheap also, so you won’t feel guilty about putting back a few.
Cheap and delicious.

Bottled. Pours copper with almost no head. Smells of hops and grass. It has a taste of soap and burnt malt. It is moderately sweet with a large bitter afterbite. It is strongly astringent and long lasting. Not a very pleasant beer. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Nice hop notes of grass, earth pine, and some light citrus tones. Pine y body with a mild bitterness. Thin and quaff able. Nice ale.

For an IPA, this one was a disappointment. It had a bit of a skunky aroma/flavor which makes me think the bottle may have been a bit old. Still, not very bitter, not very citrusy, not very impressive. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 26, 2009
Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, some spice. Tastes of wildflowers, citrus, grassy, hay, some bitterness on the finish.
