I’ve had some great Amber Ales recently. Maybe that’s why Leatherhead Red was an especially bad letdown. There’s some toasted malt flavor and moderate hops, but I wanted either more malt sweetness or more dank, crisp hops. The balance just seemed off, and the body was flat. Worst of all was the cloying finish. I may have gotten a bad batch but I probably won’t be trying this again. Ratman197 (14826) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 17, 2015
