3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bronze amber colour, clear, medium tanned quickly disapearing head. Aroma was malt, caramel and slight bourbon. Tasted malt and caramel, the finish was long and roasted, also had a note of citrus. Texture was slightly sticky, reasonable carbonation, medium body. Overall it’s somewhere between a Maerzen and a Dunkel, no bad but one to buy, drink, review and forget.
Clear lighter amber pour. Nose is caramel. Not very carbonated. Taste is caramel, malt, and kind of flat. Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 5, 2011
Durchschnitt.

Bottle. Clear, amber coloured with a very small foamy layer, solid nutty-caramelly nose with a touch of toasted malt. Moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied. Robust nutty-toasty finish with a bitter tinge in the aftertaste. Solid quality......... SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 3, 2008
Draught: Poured a copper color with a big off white head. Aroma was caramel and harvest. Taste is a smooth sweet roasted malt yet still had a harvest hop bite. Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2008
bottle, traded with pivnizub. Clear dark yellow colour with an amber touch. Medium-bodied, hints of roasetd malt and caramel, solid malty body. Slightly hoppy in the finish. MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 8, 2008
(bottle) Clear, amber to chestnut colour with a big, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and toasted, slightly nutty malty nose with notes of caramel, melanoidins and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Toasty malt-character, slightly bready with notes of caramel and leafs; medium-dry, slightly toasty and nutty finish with a moderate level of bitterness. Decent (07.06.08).
