COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special for Wetherspoons Spring 2014 International Real Ale Festival.

Jason Meyer has travelled to Thwaites Brewery, in Lancashire, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This a golden-light-copper- oloured beer which really showcases the American hop varieties used, with the Newport hops coming from a farm close to the brewery in Canada, resulting in plenty of citrus, tropical fruit and resinous notes in both the aroma and flavour, plus a refreshing, dry character which continues through to the finish.
Hops used: Centennial, Newport

The Thomas Lloyd, Warwick, 30/03/14. Clouded orange amber with a Gillette collar. Decent resinous evergreen and forest floor aroma with some curried notes. Severely finishable with good fresh pine and honey; herbaceous and mellow curried (ginger) hits; lemon, pale toasted nuts and the ubiquitous Weetabix. Not bad: drank an entire Danish pint.

Cask handpull at County Hotel Spoons Ashford. Clear gold lasting white head. Sherberty hop aroma. Sherberty hop flavour. Pink grapefruit aroma. Wow this is amazing. Bit watery in the mouth but the flavours are terrific. I am drunk but even still this is a really good apa. Had to have the second half. Fresh hop aroma. Pretty amazing. Spritzy pink grapefruit. Good beer

Cask at Streatham Hill wetherspoons. Pours gold with a white head. Lovely hoppy, sherbetty candy aroma. Light to medium body, mild carbonation. The sherbet candy thing is there alongside pine, grass, light marmalade, light caramel. This went down in a flash. Lovely balance, just very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
