Cask; Special for Wetherspoons Spring 2014 International Real Ale Festival.
Jason Meyer has travelled to Thwaites Brewery, in Lancashire, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This a golden-light-copper- oloured beer which really showcases the American hop varieties used, with the Newport hops coming from a farm close to the brewery in Canada, resulting in plenty of citrus, tropical fruit and resinous notes in both the aroma and flavour, plus a refreshing, dry character which continues through to the finish.
Hops used: Centennial, Newport
Cask by hand-pump at Counting House, Glasgow - clear golden amber, good creamy head, citrus, tropical fruit aroma, excellent lacing, sweet, excellently balanced, citrus, tropical fruits, oily texture, very easy to drink
