COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special for Wetherspoons Spring 2014 International Real Ale Festival.

Jason Meyer has travelled to Thwaites Brewery, in Lancashire, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This a golden-light-copper- oloured beer which really showcases the American hop varieties used, with the Newport hops coming from a farm close to the brewery in Canada, resulting in plenty of citrus, tropical fruit and resinous notes in both the aroma and flavour, plus a refreshing, dry character which continues through to the finish.
Hops used: Centennial, Newport

Cask at Victoria Station Spooneria, 02/04/14, JDW Spring 2014 Fest Beer #16. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is citrus, bitter orange, straw, toasted malts, mandarin, light pine, melon. Taste comprises light mineral notes, orange sherbet, subtle pine notes, toasty, grapefruit, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with gentle grassy hop bitterness. Solid easy drinking number, best beer of fest thus far as I type having had 18.

Cask handpull at County Hotel Spoons Ashford. Clear gold lasting white head. Sherberty hop aroma. Sherberty hop flavour. Pink grapefruit aroma. Wow this is amazing. Bit watery in the mouth but the flavours are terrific. I am drunk but even still this is a really good apa. Had to have the second half. Fresh hop aroma. Pretty amazing. Spritzy pink grapefruit. Good beer

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Light and relatively hoppy beer, pleasant touches of citrus, juicy and tangy with a slight, but pleasing touch of resin added to a lime note. Easy drinking, no off notes. The beer that saved this festival for me.
