COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special for Wetherspoons Spring 2014 International Real Ale Festival.

Jason Meyer has travelled to Thwaites Brewery, in Lancashire, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This a golden-light-copper- oloured beer which really showcases the American hop varieties used, with the Newport hops coming from a farm close to the brewery in Canada, resulting in plenty of citrus, tropical fruit and resinous notes in both the aroma and flavour, plus a refreshing, dry character which continues through to the finish.
Hops used: Centennial, Newport

Cask handpull at County Hotel Spoons Ashford. Clear gold lasting white head. Sherberty hop aroma. Sherberty hop flavour. Pink grapefruit aroma. Wow this is amazing. Bit watery in the mouth but the flavours are terrific. I am drunk but even still this is a really good apa. Had to have the second half. Fresh hop aroma. Pretty amazing. Spritzy pink grapefruit. Good beer

1/3rd of a pint at the Tilley Stone Gateshead. My favourite of the current ’spoonsfest so far. Golden body with a white head. Fragrant, almost perfumed tropical fruit aroma. Fruits replicated in the flavour, along with cereal and conifer resinousness. Medium bodied, slick mouth feel. Went down a treat.
