Sweet aroma of caramel. Notes of vitamine in flavour with hints of malt in the end. Weak throughout with a fast disappearing taste.

Bottle. Brown colour with a small tan head. Light roasted, fruity, light hoppy aroma and a sweet fruity, hoppy taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Brown, deep reddsih colour with a small light brown head. Light roasted malty aroma with a faint toffee sweetness. Sweet toffee flavor with a light dry finish.

A red beer with a thick lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, while the flavor besides being sweet and notes of berries, also has notes of nuts and malt, leading to a dry end. An OK Brown Ale.

My favourite coop own brand beer. It tastes awesome. Smooth and drops well, similar to newcastle brown ale but darker and fuller flavour. Great!

johndoughty (5504) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2005
A lovely brown colour with plenty of body. Some hoppiness and plenty of body.A very good example of a style that is becoming increasingly hard to find. One to look out for.

joergen (28771) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2005
Bottled. Clear brown coloured with an off white head. Nice sweet aroma dominated by malts and caramel. Sweet malty flavour with notes of caramel and dried fruits. Watery palate.

scotty (1218) - SCOTLAND - APR 25, 2005
Very dark red in colour, the light brown head looks good but dies rather quickly. Good malty nose, which is matched on the palate, with a slight sweetness. This has good body and a soft gentle hoppiness, cant say I notice the alcohol, this drinks very easily.

MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2005
Bottle. Dark brown colour. Smallish light brown head. Nicely roasted flavour and aftertaste.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 23, 2005
Bottle. First impression of the aroma suggested this might be something along the lines of Newcastle Brown Ale, well it was, but the flavour had a little dpeth too it. Sweetish, with some caramel and raisin, finishes off-dry and slightly toasty.
