Originally brewed by Thwaites, the brand was contract brewed at Marston’s Wolverhampton plant (Banks’s) from 2013, then bought completely by Marston in March 2015. The brand initially continued to be sold under the Thwaites name and logo, but by 2016 the Thwaites name had been dropped.
"This rich amber beer is brewed with only the finest English ingredients. A prominent hop aroma and bitterness throughout is finely balanced with a full malt flavour, leading to a dry bitter finish."

Fles gedeeld met Benzai. Oranje tot amberkleurig bier met mooie witte schuimkraag. Weinig aroma, beetje moutig. Smaak is hoppig en hooi-achtig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Benzai (15931) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2017
Bottle shared by Inoven. Clear orange amber golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramel, biscuit malts, moderate to decently bitter. Ok body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Light malt and light earthy aroma. Caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Caramel and light spice lingers with light earth.

Lancaster bomber a good middle of the range Ale but doesn't really stand out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml can. Poursca copper tea color with moderate head. Aromas of sweet malts, honey, and tea. Flavors of toasted grain, bread, bitter herbal hops and metallic tea.

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Lidl Culemborg. Clear amber with an off-white head. Hoppy malty aroma with some caramel. Slightly bitter taste with some earthy tones as well. Nice long finish. Very satisfying bitter.

50cl flesje via Lidl gekregen Alcoholpercentage van 4,4% Uitgeschonken in Seef glas Uiterlijk: amberkleurig met redelijke luchtige witte schuimkraag Aroma en smaak: neus is grassig, zoetmoutig, bittertje, caramel Conclusie: doordrinkbare Ale

Excalibur123 (499) - Soria, SPAIN - JUL 4, 2017

Aroma is a little hoppy but not over-powering. Pours a clear amber colour with little head. Decent British-style ale with a malty flavor and a bitter finish. Not bad but far from great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

EvNa (373) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2017
Bottle. Color: Amber, frothy very light brown head. Taste: Very smooth, malty, bread, caramel. Some bittery hints. Light body, low carbonation.
