From BA (11/11/2007): 500ml dark brown bottle, brewed to celebrate ’Rememberance Day’.
Poured in a straight Bateman’s pint glass.
Dark mahogany in colour, very clear and clean looking, good biege head. Looks good.
The aroma was fairly weak, some hops and malts, but nothing to set your senses alight.
The taste is a very dry hoppy affair, very dry compared to most English bitters.
The 5.2% is in the mouthfeel, the dryness is also very prominent in the aftertaste.
The beer is OK, but not great.

Red in colour, malty, quite fruity aroma with hints of cherry. Sweet to start with a fruity yet bitter aftertaste. A well balanced beer. worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2011
Red brown in colour - very autumn with a frothy lasting tan head. Strong malt and caramel smell, Very common. Medium body with a light fizz to the carbonation. Earthy, caramel, nut, and medium roast malt. Dry hop bitter wood finish. Very unspecial. Drinkable but common.

Bottle. Dark brown chestnut, medium cream head. Nice raisin, biscuit, grassy hop nose. Palate is dry, dark musty fruit notes with a grassy bitter finish. Not bad. futre7 (238) - Taipei, TAIWAN - OCT 8, 2011
Reminds me of London Pride this one. Nose is mild malt and dry fruit. The pour is a ruby brown colour. Head is a good two fingers with some decent lacing. Taste reminds me of London Pride. Dark fruit , biscuit ,caramel and a slightly bitter malty edge. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2011
Bottle. Chesnut coloured, thin white head. Aroma of dried fruit and a touch of chocolate in the background. A decent biscuity malt flavour with some raisins and a surprisingly bitter finish. I don’t think the beer is very balanced and I don’t like it very much. Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - AUG 12, 2011
Bottle from local off-licence. Clear brown-reddish colour, off-white head. Nose is soft malted, bit of caramel and fruits. Flavour is soft malty, caramel, bit of toffee. Slightly dry finish.
