Cask. Black/dark ruby in colour. Malty (roasty malts, caramel, hint of chocolate). Sweet roasty throughout. Easy drinking. Very sessionable. OK Mild! (2008)

gegwilson (3827) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2015
Cask in the Three Horns, Bradfield. pours deep ruby with a cream head. Thin and watery with a general malt flavour. Some mild toffee notes. Pretty poor really.

MissPxx (991) - Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2015
Nutty and caramel aroma. Very dark appearance. Thinner than expected. Slightly sweet and chocolatey and nutty, unsurprisingly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bue à la pression. Arômes de café, noisette et vin rouge. Pas très bien équilibrée. Bof.

jmgreenuk (10322) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAR 10, 2014
Cask at the Masons Arms, Solihull. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy light tan head and loads of lace. The aroma is roasted malt and liqourice. The flavour is light bitter with a watery malt hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. A decent session ale.

Singularity (6369) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2014
Cask at the Horniman at Hay’s. Dark brown with off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, chlorine and detergent. Taste is similar, not very pleasant at all.

allmyvinyl (11173) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 31, 2014
Cask at Haymarket Bar, and previously somewhere in Keswick. I remember it well, one of the best milds I’ve ever had. Near black pour, nice tan head & lacing. Lots of roasted malt notes, light coffee. Smooth taste, and surprisingly full-bodied for the strength. Roasted bitter finish. A lovely, well-made mild.

MrTipple (6952) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2014
Aroma: some roasted malts, some caramel. Appearance: dark brown, small fizzy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: slight bitterness, some acid appearing. Overall: fantastic Mild, great aroma and taste given the low ABV. Pint at Ye Olde Watling, London.
