Yes it has made it to the far flung corners of the world down here in Watford and it is well worth imbibing if you like dark mild, in fact i’m having one right now and jolly good it is too : ) BeerItsNice (356) - IRELAND - NOV 3, 2012
A very dark brown to black in colour with an off white head. Aroma of malt, coffee and nuts. A flavour to match the aroma with a nice light bitter finish..

Dunkelmaziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist mild-malzig, angenehm mild, recht süffig. Man merkt den geringen Alkoholgehalt. Aber durch die angenehm-malzige Note wirkt das Bier trotzdem nicht wässrig. Sehr toll. scottgoeft187 (6) - taipei, TAIWAN - JUL 3, 2014 does not count
Der Nachgeschmack ist röstmalzig-schokoladig, dabei angenehm herb. Röstmalzig-herbe Töne bleiben lange auf der Zunge. --> Für die 3.9% richtig toll!
I am surprised by all the low scores on this.... it is not the best i had but thr nutty black is overall a beer i would keep in stock and even drink as a session beer since it is only 3.9ABV. It stands for normal times great for sports nights, and also would be good to hve at a steak dinner.not a world class brew but a good one to be sure. Hint i suggest pouring it into a pint as this type would be best in. It lets your head be better. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2011
Bottled. Deep rubyish brown, close to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is liquorice, some caramel malts, mild roasted malts, rather rich on toffee and also shows some mild chocolaty notes. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malts, mild liquorice and some dark fruityness. Also the toffeeish notes show up in the flavour as the beer gets a bit warmer.

incredibly gassy bottle, powdered chocolate aroma, massive head that thankfully vanishes so you can see a (nutty) black body that tastes sweet and rich, fizzy and watery though still enjoyable.
