Slightly bland golden beer, ok without much to mark it out. Light malt notes, some sweetness. Mackeon (163) - - NOV 11, 2013
Good bitter, though not spectacular. The word ’smooth’ comes to mind. Also, I fail to make the connection with the famous fell-walker, whose self-portrait is on the label. Still, not bad, like most Thwaites offerings. Theydon_Bois (20600) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle, thanks to Mr C, on the train from Inverness to Hereford 21/10/13.

Taste follows, nothing more to add.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grass lead bitterness at home time.
