Bottle, smuggled onto Stanhope Beach in P.E.I and shared between myself, my wife, and the Ludlows. Tough to tell the colour because we drank it surreptitiously from plastic cups, but while pouring it had a light gingery appearance. Aroma was nice cooked apples and hints of spice. Flavour was genuine cooked apple with some gentle mustiness and again just hints of spice. Medium sweetness, low tartness, but good fruit impact. Very tasty, and all the more enjoyable in 24 degree beach heat! Boutip (6312) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 12, 2011
Bottle: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a small foamy head with light retention and lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with unrefined grain. Taste is not the greatest with unrefined grain and light cereal notes with residual sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Only to be consumed by those allergic to gluten. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Bottle poured at CiderDays 2010. Big crisp fresh apple aroma, booming. Champagne-like balance of sweetness, acidity, and perfuse carbonation makes this beverage regal and rich. Some honey and spice carry this one out. I wish I had a chance to sit down and mull through one of these. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2008
Thanks to geth_in_beer. Pale straw colour. Aroma is mostly of dessert apple. Light apple sweetness with a touch of acidity on the back. Fruity and appley but it doesn’t have a whole lot of complexity going on. Soft palate with a lightly prickly carbonation. Juicy and quite refreshing though. (750ml bottle) Sampled at Ciderwinder 5 in Victoria. Obtained via a trade with OKBeer. Iodine nose. Empire skin flavour with a sweet, uneventful palate. Average. Clear lite gold colour.

Light yellow. Crisp apple aroma like when you go to Acadia in October to watch the Mounties get their ass kicked. Soft body, gorgeous dessert apple character. Slight tannic notes along with a splash of alcohol in the finish. Crisp, refreshing finish. Very drinkable. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2008
[1055-20080119] 750mL (w/ jerc). Aroma has a bit of fishy grains, starchy apples and floral notes. Clear, pale yellow body with some white bubbles. Old apples continue in the flavour with some tart and starchy macintoshes. Light body is a bit watery. Average. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 20, 2008
Bottle courtesy of OKBeer. Pale yellow body. Lightly must tart apples, mild acidity. Tart apples, musty, stale straw notes, acidic finish lingers. Sweet, muted fruity apple middle. Average palate, pleasantly carbonated. Decent, fairly simple, straight forward cider. Quaffable but I preferred their other offerings. Mandrake (14) - Chester, Nova Scotia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2007
Pale yellow-gold with a pure white head which is quite fizzy and fades quickly. Smell is lightly fruity, lots of apple with some homey and notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste has some caramel alongside the white wine notes, with apple sweetness and spices as well. Good body, nice levels of carbonation, and a long finish. Not bad at all. 750 ml bottle. Pale "white" gold colour with a fully diminishing fizzy white head. I get more pear than apple in the aroma, along with notes of tart apple, cinnamon, peach, and light alcohol. Balance of sweet and tart apple flavour with peachy and orange peel accompaniment. Medium bodied, smooth and lightly juicy.
