Bottle from Sac Bevmo. Pours reddish copper with a modest beige head and a light floral aroma. Wow, this has almost no taste.A little pale malt and a slight hop bitterness. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 31, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark red-amber color with a lasting beige head. One whiff and I almost couldn’t even take a sip. Massive diacetyl overload; an almost sickening amount of rancid butter. The beer is buttery and slick in the mouth. There is some caramel malt flavor and a touch of hops, but the diacetyl makes it pretty much moot. There is just no excuse to serve a beer like this. I get that they are probably using a house English yeast strain, but why is there so much trouble with diacetyl? This was by far the worst example, but the wheat and brown ale were also plagued by it. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2009
On tap. Clear pale amber with an off-white head. Lightly nutty aroma. Thin and watery, lightly sweet malt and caramel. Absolutely no bitterness. 250709 yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2009
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and light golden orange to amber with a small white head. Aroma is pinewood hoppy and vague malty. Flat malty flavoured, rather vague hops flavour. Dry, light toasted and flat malty flavoured into a mild finish with no bitterness. Ungstrup (37674) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2011 Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter and lightly nutty finish.

On tap at the Tied House in Mountain View. Not a terrible light beer. Color is a light amber with a white head. Can definitely notice the presence of some Cascade hops one the aroma. Flavor is sweet malt (somewhat subdued) and more Cascade hops that redeem this beer somewhat. The absence of the usual hint of fresh piss that you expect in light beers is also a plus. Flavor is a little weak and it’s watery, but hey, it’s a light beer, and those don’t get too much better than this. jthg (86) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2008
I am getting "dirty" smells - maybe this comes from the hop choice. Or, possibly the enzymes used break down the residual sugars? In either case, this aroma follows through to the pallete. Not very enjoyable kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

An amber light... hmmm. Overall the aroma and the appearance are entirely like that of Cascade amber. After that, the flavor is incredibly weak and os disappointing. Stick to the normal amber. Beer5000 (6492) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 19, 2006
On tap. Appearance, aroma and taste much similar to a average pilsner with an exception for a little hint of cascade hop in both aroma and taste. Not bad, but not very interesting either.
