Bottle @ Home. Thanks, Jake. Clear golden colored beer with light carbonation and a short lived white head. Pretty okay. Some tea, sweet apple, and a hint of vanilla. Slight acidity and tang. Nice apple character, but kind of flat. Wasn’t big on this one. OldMrCrow (2447) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 27, 2015
Corked bottle opens with nary a puff. Light pour, nose of astringent apple overlaid with softer bourbon vanilla. Reasonably dry, light on a tongue, bourbon adding light accents instead of trying to provide the main entertainment -- I like that. Tasty but not competitive at the price point. bhensonb (16122) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 15, 2015
500 ml bottle, c&c, from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours more perry color than gold cider. Aroma of dry fruit, oak, bourbon hints. Near med body, ciderwise. Flavor is astringent, dry, woody, and has some bourbon notes. Not over bourbonized. It’s tasty and flavorful in a dry, rather light, way. ctomson (36) - - OCT 1, 2014
This was a great cider. Right off the bat you could really smell the bourbon aging. Crisp cider with a nice barrel aged finish. Had no head and was clear and clean. ilovedarkbeer (2752) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Pours a pale golden color with no head. Notes of gala apple skins, band aides, oak, vinegar, and creamy yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a medium length finish.

I really expected something great from this but was a bit disappointed. Golden pour with little carbonation. Aroma is funky, like old moldy apple slices left outside. The flavor is dry and tart.
