Had a 120z bottle, from the bottle, at some 5-Spice Asian place in Boca Raton. Not sure of the color or head since I chugged from a bottle. Smelled like rice and corn and the taste was similar. Nothing exciting. Kind of a metallic-alkaline taste. No finish notes. Boring. (My food sucked also.)

On tap at bar in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Pours a biscuity clear gold with a white head. Aroma: sweet malt, grass, mild caramel, very mild citrus. Taste: sweet malt, mild citrus. Not much else to this beer. Thin bodied. High carbonation. Mild bitterness. This is good by macro standards, but it is still quite generic and over carbonated.

Very frothy and creamy with a nose of crushed beetle and washing up liquid. Best season beer ever.

Well, the UK brewed version of this great Asian lager is not going to win any gold awards. Thanks Heineken but I won't be buying this brew. Can't fault the original Tiger though, one of the best of its type. Shame that is not the Tiger now available in the UK.

During my time in SIngapore there was nothing to beat a cool Tiger. Also in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries it is widely distributed, very often available on tap. While I would agree that it ranks among the better in the region, it cannot stand a test with real beers/ales. After all it is a standard Lager with a relatively flat taste.

Tiger Beer not a strong contender for beer of the year, actually it’s aimed at Southern Softies ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours light yellow with a big head. No retention, no foam to write home about. Aroma has faint pissoir. Taste is artificial sweet and cloying with some metal notes. Medium body, low carbonation, round thick mouthfeel. Sweet aftertaste.

Sweetness all over and pretty much nothing more. If this is what "World acclaimed lager beer" tastes like, I'm not having it. This is the worst beer I've had to date. Bleaurgh!

teddybeer (4048) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 16, 2017
Golden color, white head that quickly disappears. Aroma has notes of corn, light maltiness and butter. Flavor is slightly sweet with some cardboard hints. Light maltiness in the final with corny hints.

330ml can from Systembolaget, Sweden. Clear pale yellow with two finger white head fading to form a small white lid. Aroma is sweet malts, very light citrus and light metallic notes. Taste is metallic, sweet doughy malts and a light but odd bitterness. Light mouthfeel, medium carbonation and non-descript aftertasre.

alexmate (259) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2017
UK version at 4.8%. Nice golden with a thin head, medium carbonation. Taste is difficult to place some peach or apricot, lime, lemon and a dry hoppy malted aftertaste. Fairly pleasant session lager.
