Sample at FoBAB ’12. Pours a very dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma had roasted malts, cocoa, oak and lighter barrel notes. The flavor was very similar; roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla, oak and mild barrel notes. Not much in the way of cherry like Woodford usually adds. Just ok in the company that was available.

Sampled at FoBAB 10 - 2012 (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich deep dark pour, dark and ominous, fairly thick, rich brownish head atop. Aromas are toasty, dry, and roasty. Some cocoa, spirit, and oak. Some coffee. Initial is thicker feel, heavier end with cocoa, roast, toffee. Coffee, vanilla, firm barrel flavors, gentle heat. Middle is gentle dark fruit, walnut, kiss of roasty coffee grows firmly. Some vanilla, oak, toffee. Backend and finish shows fruit, walnut, oak, and spirit. Solid offering, unique flavors, with brown malt input, if a bit unfocused.
