COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wheat based Pale Ale that is fermented very clean with American Ale yeast giving it a crisp, refreshing finish. The trio of newcomer hops, Zythos, Motueka and Nelson Sauvains, provide an aroma and flavor of mango, tangerine and other soft citrus fruit and may cause a widespread panic... hint at the names origin!

Draft at Tap House Grill, Westmont. Finally get to pop the cap on another recent Chicago brewer. I found myself really liking this and thinking it was a Double IPA. Let me count the ways: a sudsy IPA head over a bright, brassy body. I thought I was just getting a snootful of Mr. Cascade Hopp and his lupalin friends, not having a full description of the beer in front of me. But definitely a very fresh hop beer. Bold taste combining pine, resin and citrus. Lemony aftertaste from the hops, but still matched by plenty of big malts.

16 oz. can. cloudy tangerine colored beer that has an off white head. Not a big aroma but it is pleasant featuring fruit and yeast. Feel is thin but there are plenty of malts tasted. Complex hops that i am not sold on early in the glass. Fruit is tropical but also something "down under" about it. Bitterness is bigger than expected for a session.

Aroma is similar to the Irie IPA. Flavor isnt as rich or balanced though. Body is summer haul a little thinner. The regular IPA is much better.

Solid session pale. Fresh mildly hop aroma. Nice balance. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Enough meat on the bone to satisfy hardcore IPA drinkers.

Red-orange pour with a beige head. Aroma is citrusy hops, fruity. Very tasty- fruity, dry and resinous in the finish. Lacing shown from the start. Nice malt backbone.

Huge, off-white head that refuses to settle over a perfectly amber, effervescent body. I poured this and told my wife "this is on the delicate side for a DIPA". And then I looked and saw this is a "session IPA"? Wow. It has HUGE piney aromas with latent citrics and apparent alcohol. Flavor is congruent to the aroma, hearty pine and citrus hopping, long lasting on the palate. Seriously... I bought this for the label-art and was subsequently deceived (and then impressed) by the content. ~~~~ 22 oz. bomber from Kenwood Liquours, Oak Lawn, IL, Jan. 2016.

Bomber at home. Hazy amber - gold pour with a 1 inch head. Aroma of ripe mango, pink grapefruit, lemonade. Very fragrant. Prickly carbonation. Light bodied, fruity, leafy hop flavors, even a bit dank, but very restrained bitterness. Smells great, looks great, flavor is a little underwhelming.

Aroma is bright citrus, floral and a hint of hop resin. The flavor is tropical fruit, citrus, fruit and a mix of dry and a hint of hop resin in the finish.
