Color is a light tint of brown with a nice fluffing of head created. Has a full serving of caramel in the aroma. Texture runs thin but still has a light malt sweetness backed with caramel that makes this a quaffable cerveza. A considerable beer thats good. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2008
12 oz bottle that came in a multi pack. Pours dark from with white head. Aroma is malt, caramel and some nuts. Flavor is caramel, malt, honey and a little nuts. Smooth mouthfeel with nice carbanation. Belt Mexican beer I have had. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 25, 2006
Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Aroma is dry, mellow chocolate accented malt. Slightly bready with some faint camael notes and an even fainter sugar/fruit sweetness. Body is a dark amber and the head is a thumb thick and bubly. Said head also fades quickly. some chocolate/caramel malt notes, mild roast notes. Leaves some nutty/toasty flavors in the finish. Light and crisp feel in the mouth and very quaffable. RAYBOY01 (2010) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2006
Very pleasantly surprised by this one. Kind of a Negra Modelo clone, which I like very much. Some dark roasted maltiness, nutty and molasses-like, very interesting and refreshing.

Bottle: poured dark ruby/brown with a small tan head which disappeared quickly. Aroma is lightly malty with a touch of hops. A little fruit in the nose as well. Flavor is mostly malt. Lightly sweet. Lightly roasty. Finish is crisp. A nice beer. Lunkie (1956) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - MAR 10, 2006
Malt hop aroma. Clear brown/red ??? colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter malt flavour. Fizzy palate. Not what I was expecting. vanvenlo (1910) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - MAR 8, 2006
5 Mar 06 - Fruit malty aroma. Red-brown colour (not what I’d expect from a Cerveza), low head and lacing. Light fruity malt and roastiness. A sharp malty finish. SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 1, 2008
On draft at O’Briens. Beautiful bright, burnt sienna color when held to light, small beige head. Toasty-sweet malts, floral and hoppy notes with a bit of earth and wood. Malty with a nice crisp tartness, toasty with bitter herbal notes, nicely balanced with hints of burnt caramel as well. Medium body, getnly tingly carbonation.
