Pour is a golden with a white head. Aroma is typical lager. Some breadyness but overall this is wet paper bag. Flavor is horrible. Super tart lemonlike flavor takes over and makes you wince. It may be from Belgium but pass this one by. WisconsinBeer (716) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - APR 17, 2007
Well, I got this beer because the guy at the store recommended it. I think he was just trying to get rid of it. I looked at it and saw that it was Belgian, so I figured it couldn’t be too bad, which it isnt, but it isn’t that good either, especially for a Belgian beer. Has a lot of pale lager characteristics, including being pale yellow and fizzy, light bodied, and with minimal malt and hop flavors. It does leave a bit of lace in the glass, which is a bit redeeming. As for flavor, it has a bit of a soft palate biscuit bread thing going on. Hops are faint and spicy. Not bad I guess, but.........alright, I’ve wasted enough words on this mediocre beer. NicerInPerson (337) - North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 20, 2007
The aroma was spicy Saaz hops when first poured. As the beer warmed the aroma became lightly tart with some corn (DMS) and lasting low spicy hops and an earthy presence. The beer poured hazy pale golden with nearly no head at all. The flavor was lightly tart with some caramel and a bit of spicy hops. The flavor was somewhat earthy and had a light corn presence. The body was medium and the carbonation was fairly low. Nothing outstanding about this one, just a boring beer.
500 ml bottle. pintbypint (3641) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 18, 2007
330ml brown bottle. Poured very pale straw colour, long lasting billowy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma reveals grassy hops, also some honeylike sweetness. Flavour is minerally, dry, finishes with a dash of grassy hops flavour, trace bitterness. Body is light and watery. A little stale tasting overall.

Hop malt chemical aroma. Clear yellow colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter stale malt flavour with chemical aftertaste. Flat palate. Muggus69 (2493) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - JAN 17, 2007
Chilled 330ml bottle. I’m liking the golden coloured cap, although I have a feeling it goes downhill from there... Not much to the nose, slight sweet maltiness. Pours clean golden body with sizeable white head and lace. Pale malt flavours, reasonably full body, hint of grassy hops, with an odd sharp dry hint of rice towards the finish which i can’t explain to well, unexpected really. Another drinkable but unremarkable pale lager to the list. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 25, 2006
Hazed straw color with a taller eggshell colored head. Decent lace. Sweet malt cereal and a dry weed/herbal aroma. Dry malt flavor in the start that sweeten slightly though the quaff. Light floral flavors come out in the finish and a mild pepper bite in the linger. Some cardboard in the linger as well. Perhaps a brew for indian food, but there are many lagers like this that would suffice. taunusmies (372) - FINLAND - DEC 21, 2006
Pours pale golden and clear. Aroma is somehow disgusting. Taste is mild, grassy and boring. Enderhat (12) - portage, Michigan, USA - NOV 14, 2006
This beer is not worth the money needed to obtain it, it’s tates is like that of miller highlife’s minus the potato chips.
