This beer poured a very light yellow color with a almost no head. Appearance ponts a sold 1 so far. It smells like corn, hay, and generic dish detergent. So far this is in the toilet. The flavor has a slight yeasty presence. The taste is quite dry with some lemons, whipped cream, creamed corn, and buttered popcorn. Well overall its not too bad. Nothing I would seek out though lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2008
Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Slight hazy golden with a simple white head. Very skunky sweetness nose. Light hops. More simple sweet pils tastes and an uncharacteristically long finish. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2006
Pours an almost crstal clear straw with a small white head. Weak aroma of wet hay, metal, corn, and some floral hops. Slight hoppy earthy grassiness followed by a little bit of corn and bready sweetness. I think this falls under pilsener, though a weak one at that. Could be a pretty decent summer refresher-type beer. Won’t be getting ever again, mainly because there are a billion beers just like this one. jimhilt (2611) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 30, 2006
Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Slight hoppy nose. Starts slightly hoppy and stays that way, mild flavored, could make a good session beer but not as good as their Bière du Boucanier Golden ale. $2.99 for a 500ml bottle from John’s Grocery Iowa City, Ia. Chilled 330ml bottle. I’m liking the golden coloured cap, although I have a feeling it goes downhill from there... Not much to the nose, slight sweet maltiness. Pours clean golden body with sizeable white head and lace. Pale malt flavours, reasonably full body, hint of grassy hops, with an odd sharp dry hint of rice towards the finish which i can’t explain to well, unexpected really. Another drinkable but unremarkable pale lager to the list.

Somewhat dissapointing. I was expecting something really enjoyable but what I got was much, much less. I got a ton of corn in the nose with a soapyness that really unpleasing. The appearance was a nice clear, yellow color. The slight harshness of the beer was not enjoyable at all, and the flavor corn really didn’t sit right with me. A WELL below average Belgian lager. No thanks. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 5, 2010
Pours bright gold with a mostly receding off-white head. Notes of sweet pale malt, cookie, tart bread yeast, light herbs. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. rocbyter (2131) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - JAN 15, 2008
Strong corn and malts aroma with a slight amount of caramel. Hazy golden color with a small white head. Mildly tangy taste in the beginning developing into more malt flavor in the finish. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Very sweet and sugary beer that had a bit of stickiness to it but not too much. Was a good palate cleanser for the Indian food I was eating. kingstoni (2120) - FINLAND - MAY 6, 2017
Bottle. Clear pale golden color with a minimal head. Mild aroma of hay and straw. Medium bitter taste. Lively carbonation. Thin body.
