I get it, the tikka is that little red spot on their foreheads. So if you take the leftovers out of the microwave and open the container too quickly you can be severely tikkad. Of course the pain of the searing vermilion paste would leave you severely tikkad off no doubt. As does the attempt at the cynical marketing of this beer as the ideal complement to hot foods. This, I thought, was the domain of a cucumber raita, mango chutney or coconut coated banana when this fruit was affordable and not in the realms of caviar, saffron or a litre of Aussie petrol. I suppose all this prose is simply a precursor to the morose. That is, yes folks, we are looking at another pale lager. Yada yada, it is as expected. Regrettably because of my current vintage (and the quality of early Aussie TV) I recall the existence of an ancient American kiddie show called My Friend Flicka. This ain’t my friend tikka. 500ml - (Secret Santa cousin Rich) Aroma is skunky and bland. Pours clear yellow with small head and some lacing. Flavor is bland, boring, skunky, and thin, but non-offensive. Palate is watery and non-existent. This is why I don’t drink pale lagers. mephisto (1294) - TAIWAN - APR 4, 2006
an alright pale lager. yellowish colored with white head, it’s crispy and a bit sweet. XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 22, 2012

500 ml bottle. Golden colour, flocculating thin head. Mild grassy aroma, slightly bready maltiness, a hint of diacetyl. Dry finish with moderate bitterness and almost no taste. Soft texture, medium body.

Pours a clear golden with a foamy white head. Aroma is lot of rice, some mild hops, and very small indiscernible amount of hops. Flavor is rice, a very light sweetness, slight hops note, and rather watery. Palate is sweet and slightly sticky. Overall, Meh...Another Pale Lager. I was expecting more from the great country of Belgium, but even they can make a sub-par Pale Lager. scottw86 (1179) - Maryland, USA - APR 23, 2010
Poured a very pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is sweet with some lemon. Some yeast as well, but a little skunky. Rice is noticeable. Taste is slightly bitter and grassy with some rice and yeast. Aftertaste is not great. Overall it is ok, but you let me down belgium! TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 8, 2005
foul rubber aroma. Pours a clear golden yellow, thin white head. Unsatisfying over-fermented vinegar taste. Leaves you wishing you could taste more rice. mutz (1113) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2014
Halve liter fles in Punjab restaurant Londen. Pilskleur, aardige kraag.

Maku maltainen, keskiasteisen hiilihappoinen. Ihan toimiva lager, noussee aavistuksen normikeppanan yläpuolelle
