Bottle: What can one say?? As if the market for lame, golden lagers wasn’t cornered here’s another. There’s nothing new; clear pale gold with a big flffy white head. Slightly spicy metalic corn aroma, but maybe I’m just imagining things because there really isn’t much in this department. Predictably the flavour is similar - weak, decocted malt flavours with a touch of spice in the background. Yawn... Thankfully the Indian food I had ordered arrived not long after I started this. The Aloo Chop was particularly excellent. mmm :-) Tmoney99 (14619) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 18, 2006
Bottle. Poured light hazy pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light sour flavor with a light sour finish of short duration. I would not recommend this to freind. taunusmies (376) - FINLAND - DEC 21, 2006
Pours pale golden and clear. Aroma is somehow disgusting. Taste is mild, grassy and boring. BeerViking (4909) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2013
Bottle at Punjabi restaurant, gold with lasting white head, slight hop nose, body has some mango and malt but is pretty watery and shallow. thedm (6222) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2006
This bottled brew from a bottle shop was marked 06GE and poured a large sized foamy head with a frothy top of fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was slightly astringent and lagerish. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish then faded. The mild thin flavor contained notes of malt and hops.

Bottle. Poured a medium sized white fizzy head that mostly diminished, lackluster lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was skunky and rice smelling. Flavor was weak-mildly malty, rice, and somewhat astringent tasting. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body. Not impressed by any means. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 12, 2006
(500ml bottle) Medium white head atop a clear pale straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, mild, cereal, rice. Taste is medium sweet, rice, some cereal, light grassy/spice. Watery light body. Fool that I am, I saw "Belgian" and bought it -- why the heck is a Belgian Pale Lager being imported when there are dozens of great beers from there unavailable in the States?! The aroma was spicy Saaz hops when first poured. As the beer warmed the aroma became lightly tart with some corn (DMS) and lasting low spicy hops and an earthy presence. The beer poured hazy pale golden with nearly no head at all. The flavor was lightly tart with some caramel and a bit of spicy hops. The flavor was somewhat earthy and had a light corn presence. The body was medium and the carbonation was fairly low. Nothing outstanding about this one, just a boring beer.
