Beaverfest. Day 1. Keg. Light haze on this pale yellow - gold beer, no head. Dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Pretty tart rhubarb, some lemon acid. More tart rhubarb on the finish. Okay.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours cloudy orange sunset vibes with a bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, barnyard, rather funky, must, sweaty, rhubarb, red berry and bread. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, vinous, bright acidity, damp leaves, wood, earth, red berry, sherbet, rhubarb and a touch of gooseberry with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Bright and delicious. Very tasty stuff indeed!

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 09/09/17. Hazed orange with an off white covering. Nose is tarte citric rinds, dirty plums, rhubarb leaves, damp hay, wet alleyway. Taste comprises sharp rhubarb, light spice, damp cloth, hay bale, rhubarb yoghurt, pissy fruit balsams, funky tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a big phat puckering climax. Solid.

September 2017 - Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Tilquin Experimental Fruit Series #1 - Rhubarbe Rouge Tilquin'. Hazy orange, still, foamy off-white head. Aroma is eggy, cowpat, filthy, manure and household compost bin after a few days. Absolutely filthy. Body is frothy with soft carbonation. Taste is tangy rhubarb, slight lemon tartness, sugary rhubarb tart with a crisp, clean finish. A mixed bag for me. I generally like the 'dirty' vibes from lambic but this one was a touch too much. (thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Orange. Nose is surprisingly low on the rhubarb, some vinegar, dirty funk. Taste acidic, lightly dirty, weird but the finish is very nice rhubarb, faint fruit sweetness before the acidity, touch vinegar overtakes. Full bodied; fruit & some vinegar. Interesting to say the least like the whole of this new fruit series.
