COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a higher abv version of the Gueuze Tilquin à l’Ancienne containing the blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambics aged in oak barrels. Due to over-carbonation, the beer underwent a second barrel aging process before being bottled a second time. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented in the bottle.

Flaska från SB. Vintage 2015/16. Gott!

Doft: vitt vin, stenfrukt, jordkällare, nektarin,
Smak: stenfrukt, halm, funk, jordkällare, syrligt, vitt vin - typ ett lite rundare och fylligare, nektarin, lite övermoget äpple, gott och runt!

I tried this gueuze with Raoul at the Pibar on wednsday, one gueuze before the stout, interesting from a bottle of 2014, three year. Personnally, I prefered the mariage parfait, even tough it is a good one. The first attack is sour but you have an interesting side of oak, nuts, a bit fruity, sparkling carbonation with a beautiful yellow body, more you go ahead and more the sourness is becoming fine and delicious, complex, touch of vinegar, you must take time to appreciate this work.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2017 From a bottle into snifter. Caramel color, cloudy, light head disappearing quickly. Funk nose, horse blanket, apricot, hay, old barn, musty.
