16/17 bottle in early '18. Nice looking magenta but very minimal carbonation, almost flat. Nose is mostly blackberry, dark fruit. Taste is moderately sour. Flavor of blackberry, lacto/yogurt funk, some wheat. Blackberry sours generally fall flat but thus represents pretty well.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear dark red with a thick off-white head. Aroma of malt, funk, black pepper and blackberry. Malt and berry flavor with a big sour finish that contains slight black pepper.

Chuck’s CD, Seattle. Anniversary Party. Bottle pour. Deep copper red, small bubbles. Fairly light carbonation and delicious, fairly soft but so pure funk. Blackberry must. Modest tartness, low sweetness. Quite dry and delicious. Light acedic wheat on backend. Smooth, low funky tartness. Just fantastic.

deep golden purple color. Big blackberry, oak and tart. Well balanced dry good oak and fruity character. nice but falls short of my expectations. Especially given the price for this beer, it is a let down from Tilquin.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 My treacherous faces-Bottle shared at home. Hazy ruby with short lasting bubbly pink head. Lots of hay, farmyard, fresh wood, red berries, black berries, quite lactic, yeasty, old white bread. Nice beer, not very fruity, mainly massive barnyard and cellar notes with the fruits in the background. Light to medium sour with soft woody bitterness. Thin to medium bodied with barely any carbonation. Very, very enjoyable. The cat made bleeee!?
