37.5cl. Nice smooth fresh blackberry beginning. Moderate sour, smooth fruity. Nice dark blackberries, round and mild. Smooth fruity finish, not too much sourness there, round and fruity dry with funky tart hints. The blackberries are great and not too sour but very dry there, fantastic!

Bottle (from finest belgian beers). Pours red with amber hue. Aroma is puke, sour, funk, puke, wheat, puke. Flavor is really sour, but not too acidic, berries, hay, wheat. Finish intense sour. Overall: the puke in the aroma is really off putting, but otherwise this is solid sour.

375ml corked bottle. As Oude Mure Tilquin A l'ancienne. Pours an unclear red-purple with a thin, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of tangy blackberry, red wine, vinegar, wheat malt, funk and oak. Sweet fruity flavour of blackberry, cherry, blueberry, crab apple, vinegar, red grape, red wine, lemon, wheat malt and oak with a dry, sour, acidic finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Tasty and complex.

Sampled at Rories tasting. Interesting funk in this. Tartness is there but moderate. Berries are complex. And that woodsiness. Good.

Sour aroma of lemon juice, barnyard, heather and wild berries. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and light bitterness. Balanced, sour and with a berry background.
