[1/25/17] Draught at Almanac Taproom in San Francisco. Clear golden. Aroma of apples, a bit of funk, a bit of sulphur. Slightly sweetish and slightly tart flavor with apples. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Bottle @ joet’s Party Palace. Thanks, Joe! Clear golden pour with a small, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma starts off a touch horsey. Lots of apple, some honey, and a touch of caramel. Light fruity tartness. Nice funky and sweetness to the flavor. A hint of tartness on the back end. Some barnyard, lots of apple, and honey. Subtle caramel, some fruit skin, and yeast. Well done. illidurit (2356) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Thanks Ken for sharing! Pours a clear pale gold. Funky apple skin aroma along with some sort of sharp sweetness, not apple-like, maybe maraschino cherries? Dry and vibrant, tart sweet and mildly acidic. Just what you want out of a Gravenstein cider. Nice stuff.
