Pale yellow. Neutral aroma. Creamy head. Yes a little bit of bitterness in there but this is not a bad dort, probably it tastes a little different than most dorts I’ve had. However, after you session it for a while, that bitterness builds. Good co2 and a bitter finish that certainly hangs for a while after its gone. Perhaps its more like an amber ale? On tap. Pours a clear light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, pale malts. Flavor of pale bready malt with apple and light fruits in the finish. Dry, drinkable, solid beer but fairly basic.

This one poured a golden color with a white head. Arma was of grass, pale malt, and oxidation. Falvor was of light noble hops, astringent grain and weird off flavors. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Draft at brewpub. Yellow with good lacing lots of bread and some floral notes. Mild bitter. Nice. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 7, 2013

S: German Malts, Grainy, Mild Bittering Hops
T: German Malts, Mild Bittering Hops
M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Drying, Mildly Cloying
Overall, a very traditional German Dortmunder styled beer, the back end of it almost taste a little smokey from the blend of german malts and german hops.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a golden-amber color with a large creamy yellow-white head that left a good amount of lacing. The aroma was tangy and bready with hints of honey and nut. The flavor was tangy, nutty, bready and had a honey presence with a faintly tart and bitter middle followed by faint fruity hops and a hint of pine. Medium length dryish honey, bread and fruity hop finish. Medium body and smooth. Very pleasant. charule (2268) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 20, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2013 Draught. Dark golden color. Typical hefeweizen flavor. Smooth palate finishes easy. Could drink all day. redpooba (406) - Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2013
A yellow-amber ale with a white head. Frothy hefe flavors with a decent body. It is clean and overall a nice beer with food.
