Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, mocha, coffee beans, cacao, caramel, and a touch of liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet with a fine roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium and a bit creamy. Nice Coffee Stout. DutchDrebus (6197) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2017
Backlog. Can @ home. Black with a fairly large and firm light brown head. Smells roasty, dark malts, coffee, slightly hazelnut. Tastes roasty, coffee and chocolate, chocolate bitterness, sweetish. A bit dry but that's no problem. Quite a nice stout. Nothing really wrong with it but at the same time slightly forgetable. Enjoyed it though! AndrewHenderson (2) - - NOV 5, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 I like Coffee, I like Stout, I’ve never tried Kraken but if it’s as good as the two former it’s bound to be a winner.
Smooth, vanilla, tobacco and chocolate dominate at different times during every mouthful.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Zwart bier met parelende mokkakleurige schuimkraag die langzaam inzakt. Koffie, espresso, cacao, chocolade, mout. Redelijk lange bittere afdronk. Mooie stout. sam_uk93 (49) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2017
Pours black with a fairly big light-ish tan head. Aroma is strong coffee, slight smoke. Taste is strong black coffee up front, leading to a nice sweet hit, maybe slight vanilla, syrup, finishing fairly dark and bitter with a lingering bitter sweetness. Medium to full bodied, lovely mouth coating. Medium to low carbonation. Great stuff!
