Very acid in smell and taste, but just right, not too much. Copper in color. The type of lambic I would recommend to wine and cider drinkers that think they don’t like beer. Tried it from a bottle at "Pannrummet Kök & Bar" on January 27.

I have a soft spot of fruit lambics as they sort me out after iv been tasting and have had somethign rubbish. This is typical blackcurrent out its nut and quite sweet in all ways nice beer to calm your mouth down.

(Bottle 25 cl) Beautiful deep red colour with a small head. Soft fruity flavours of the black currant, less sharp and less tart than most cassis lambics. This somehow reminds me of a well matured Rioja. Quite interesting. 040200

Aroma of blackberries, quite artificial, but it is somewhat dusty or woody. Hazy, dark red-purple coloured with a lasting, pink medium head. Taste is sweet, slightly sour. Very fruity (blackberries). Bit thin finish. Sticky palate. Nice freshness for a warm afternoon. But no complexness or so. One dimensional.

Hazy reddish color, medium off-white head. Aroma of tart blackberries, bit artificial. Bit sour, but mostly sweet and fruity. Sticky palate.

Red/amber in colour with minimal head. Aromas are sour blackberries and cherry drop sweets. Flavours are sweet and sour berries followed by a dry, soft and slightly soapy finish. More cloying when warmed up. Its OK.

Bottled. Orange amber with white head. False pear drop note is the first thing o hit, followed by a sweet cloying boiled cherry flavour. Cannot get throught o any of the bitterness.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2004
Bottled. Cloudy red/brown/amber. Artificial blackcurrant nose. Lightly hoppy and flavour from blackcurrant, little more "lively"(some carbonation) than the aroma. The finish is quite short.

madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2004
Bottled: Reddish coloured. Clear. Off white lasting head. Blackcurrent in the nose. Light hoppy. Light sour flavour. Blackcurrent notes present. Is rather cloying in the end. Dies quickly on the palate. Not my kind of fruitlambic.
