Nothing goes down better than a bierbitzch. And a bierbitzch this is not. That’s a pilsner, this is a lambic, but seriously, this goes down better than a bierbitzch. And for that matter a dry martini too. But not a gueuze; never a geuze; but close. Raspberries are prominent and so are slightly unripe blackberries. This is going down so well.

330ml bottle pours a pinkish red colour with a finger of fizzy light pink head that dissipates quickly leaving very little lacing behind. Aroma is raspberries with some hints of yeast. Taste is a light raspberry tartness with a fruity and malty sweetness. Light bodied with generous carbonation. Overall, the taste is more of a sweet syrup than fresh fruit, making this one too sweet for my tastes.

Bottle from Beer Hawk. Aroma of Raspberry and apple. Pleasant pink colour with small white head. Underwhelming taste of raspberry and hops, sweet with a nice finish. Not bad.

750ml bottle. Nice raspberry color, not much bubbles. Strong fruity raspberry jam aroma and taste. Not enough carbonation for me but tasty.

Lovely tasty and refreshing stuff!.
Red/pink color with an fine head. Good intensity in the aroma. Quite nice body for a 4% beer. Mellow fine sweetness and a fine balanced tartness. Mild mellow nice raspberry flavor also. Avery nice beer and easy to recommend.

Pours a reddish color. I want to call it strawberry color, but it is raspberry, so we’ll go with that. Cloudy, pretty good carbonation. About one finger white head. Medium retention, decent lacing. Neat little foil wrapped bottle is cool.

Aroma is fresh raspberries, And maybe yeast. That’s about all. Smells really nice. Smells like fresh raspberries, not artificial.

Taste is same. Fresh raspberries, maybe some yeast. It is sweet and sour and bitter a little, but aren’t fresh raspberries?

Mouthfeel is light bodied. Tart, bitter, finishes clean and nothing lingering. Maybe raspberry preserves or something sweet and raspbeery

Overall, I like this. Light and sweet. Almost a dessert beer unto itself. I wonder if this is what to alcopops are modeled after? Anyhoo, yes I would buy this again, and I would probably recommend this. This bottle has born on date of 8-26-14, so this is two years out of date. I dunno howmuchnthart would affect the flavor, but if it’s too much better, I don’t think I could contain myself.

Lovely, creamy mouthfeel. Sweetness is there but has a dry finish bit a touch of tart bitterness which is what makes this a very good beer. Far better than many of it’s peers

330ml bottle at the Assembly Rooms, Epsom (JDW). In a dark pub appears to be ruby brown with a white head. Aroma of raspberries. Mildly sour taste with thin sweetish finish.

Pale red colour. Thin white line of froth on top. Sweetness, raspberries in the aroma. Sweetness and hints of raspberries in the taste. Rather sweet finish. Hints of raspberry jam in the aftertaste. Light bodied, rather light bodied, too sweet beer. Does not have a character of a lambic.
