UPDATED: APR 5, 2004 Bottle, at The Anchor, Birmingham. Hmmm, I've read the comments below, and this review is going to end up being a classic "against the grain". Ruby red colour, with a medium, salmon head. Heavenley aroma. Amazing! Beautiful! Full of sweet, fizzy sherbet pleasure, doing the pogo on my tongue. A big raspberry taste, which sustains throughout the sip, and lingers to perfection. This doesn't seem like a real beer, but if someone else has classified it as such, all I can do is say that it gave me unprecedented joy. weronica (23) - - MAR 8, 2014

Smells fantastic. Carbonated raspberry koolaid taste, with a very faint bitterness. A sweet girly framboise lambic, but still good. Cybercat (5841) - Georgia, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Pours a red-tinged amber with a mauve-tan head. Yeasty aroma has a decided raspberry overtone. Raspberry dominates the flavor, but not too much, allowing malt and yeast notes to take center stage. Smooth texture has good fizz and firmness. You like raspberries as much as I do, down the hatch! cnewport99 (10) - Sterling, Virginia, USA - FEB 16, 2002
Very sweet..unlike beer, tastes sweet, but our all time favorite beer.

Pours a dark mahogany/orange color. Foamy head. Very few visible carbonation bubbles. Very sweet, fruity, raspberry aroma. Fruity, raspberry flavor. Tastes very similar to a raspberry soda. novair (139) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2015
Clear red with big head. High carbonation, highly enjoyable on a sunny summerday! Taste of sweet red berries. jimmydolain (3) - IRELAND - AUG 19, 2016 does not count
Lovely, creamy mouthfeel. Sweetness is there but has a dry finish bit a touch of tart bitterness which is what makes this a very good beer. Far better than many of it’s peers RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 7, 2012
11.2oz bottle poured into Champagne Tulip at 41°. Color is a deep ruby with good carbonation and a very thin head. Aroma is a fresh raspberry scent. It has a lighter body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is lightly sweet with a bright raspberry taste and a clean after taste letting the berry flavor hanging on. Overall this is an very good Framboise Lambic.
