hazy, medium amber with sharp, earthy, carbonic, woody nose. light carbonation, lemon, acid, rotting wood, slightly vegetal, shar dry finish. not my favourite jonge lambic
Glass at the Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. Hazy orange with no head. Aroma of toffee, citrus, apple notes and oak. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate sour. Light to light medium bodied with flat carbonation. Maakun (6710) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2016
Tap at WvdSG. Hazy golden. Sharp lemon, vanilla wood, almost bourbon like nose, grapes, dust. Very interesting and nice aroma. Taste is quite sharp sour, almost vinegar, very light sweet and bitter. Under medium bodied with no real carbonation. JStax (7306) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2015
Draft pour at kulminator. Pours a hazy hellow with a white head of foM. The aroma had dry, musty, fruity character, and the taste had that, and then a juicy sweetness. Nicely tart. AdamChandler (5206) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 4, 2015
Light cloudy yellow pour. Big bubbles.
Age is 5 months. Smells a bit like pumpkin and brown sugar. Apple and plum taste. Banana. Very much a lot of nice flavors. An excellent jonge lambiek

On draught at ’In de verzekering’. Nice white foamy head, good retention. Hazy yellow golden pour, somewhat murky. I got lime, earth, citric acid and vinegar in the after. Medium sour but full bodied mouth feel. Loved the grainyness, peppery hints and brett flavour. Alengrin (5884) - BELGIUM - OCT 21, 2014
Timmermans’s unblended lambic, tasted at a Weekend der Spontane Gisting years ago; rooty, earthy, quite ’rough’ lambic, sharpish and lemony, a tad wry in the finish but complex and funky as to be expected from the genre. In comparison with Girardin, Cantillon, or Lindemans lambics, I found this one to be a bit unrefined - but I’m a lambic lover, so glad I tasted this anyway. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 13, 2014
(Backlog) at spontaneous fermentation. (3 months) very hazy light golden pour, still. Aroma similar to a witte. Tart, lactic, fruit and leather flavors. Buongiorgio00 (951) - - JUN 7, 2014
2011. Invecchiata tre anni.
Cask @ In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Hazy yellow with no head and no lacing. Aroma is really citric and lemony with floral presence, grains cheesy notes, nice funk and wood. Taste is lemony and citric, very tart with light floral notes, wood, hay and vinegar. Light body, Soft carbonation. Dry and mouth puckering. Even in a blind tasting, it would be easily recognizable that it’s the Timmermans lambic I think. Tasty, but not one I would drink gallons of. Taste side by side with the Girardin Oude Lambik and they couldn’t be much more different.
