375ml bottle. Pours a clear light gold (the E150 colouring apparently hasnt done a whole lot), with a tiny and rapidly vanishing white head, which leaves no lace. There are some pleasant sour, musty and woody notes in the aroma, but the added apple juice gives an artificial feeling to it. A fairly pleasant sour flavour up front is again spoilt by an artificial apple taste. Some sourdough flavours come through in the middle, with a crisper sour finish. This is not a terrible beer by any means, but I get the sense that it could have been a whole lot better without the apple juice, which is very intrusive, and the unnecessary E150 and E300 additives.

37.5cl bottle. It pours a clean golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is tart lemon juice and weird syrupy sweetness. Taste is similarly syrupy with medium sweetness and light acidic lemon juice. No real complexity or funk. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not sure what goes into this beer exactly

Bottle @home. Clear bronze pour with a small off white head. Notes of funk, mold, sugar, light syrup and some light apple juice.

Hazy orange colour, white foam. Tart nose with lots of artificial sweetness. Taste is tart, chemical bitterness, sweet finish. Not very good.

sample, poured a deep golden dark colour with a white head. first off, this has nothing to do with a geuze, its like a chemical sweetend faro beer, with fainted off fruits, rotten apples, grains, bread. sweet chemical. bad

bottle. Golden with a tiny foamy head. Intensive aroma of marmite. Sour and fruity, not too sour, yeasty with a touch of vegemite. Unusual, quite interesting.

Well, I had to do it. all for science, right? 37.5CL, hard to figure out the bottle dating, cool temp served in stemware.Golden orange. aroma of eggs, grass, sulfur, metal and cheese. taste is not bad. very thin mouthfeel, almost flat despite being a fairly fresh bottle. more taste of what I smelled. Not awful but certainly a grocery store Gueuze.

Ugh what a foul beer. The fact that they are allowed to call this a gueuze should be criminal. Aroma was sweet and syrupy with Lemon Head candy smell. Pour was way too dark for the style. very dark gold/light brown with no head but a plus for all the sediment in the bottle.Taste was nasty. Initial malt sweetness is immediately taken over by an artificial tasting sourness. Not much else to this beer. Finish is sticky and fake lemony. Very light carbonation doesnt help this beer out either.
