Cask quite a few times now. Latest last night. Mmmm. Yep. This is a fine ael. I’ve not always had it in best condition, but when it is it is a blinder. Plays nicely. It shoots and it scores. OK. Citric head on a grainy base. Nice.
Brilliant beer from Yorkshire - great on draft and really great with a Steak pie meal at lunchtime.

Without a doubt, an exceptional English Mild. Tried for the first time in 2010. Golden, thin bodied but with a bold bready character. drmaxinewatson (10) - - AUG 22, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Thankfully, this beer never changes always delivers that classic uk best bitter taste of hops blended with a subtle sweetness and still delivering a lingering soft but dry finish. Cask @Malt & Hops, Leith [on or about 28.07.2017]. Pours golden/yellow, small white head. Nose is malty, bread, honey. Taste is more of the same. Rhombic (145) - Elx, SPAIN - JUL 31, 2017
Cask. Amber beer, with a white head. Smells malty and complex - hoppy, maybe floral but not grassy or biting. Flavours are hoppy but balanced, fairly good; wood, leather. Oily, somewhat creamy. OK.

Classic bitter, off white head, clear light brown body, easy drinking. Balance of both hops and malt without any great distinctive overwhelming flavour. But not bland in anyway.

Good white head - dissipates to froth on sides. Golden amber appearance. Only a small aroma. Good mouthfeel - pleasant tasting, easy drinking. FLBH (47) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2017
Cask at the Atlas, Fulham. Clear amber with a creamy dissipating head. Aroma is classic malty beer and taste is a good English bitter. Not a style I would ever choose, but if I had to, I’d have this one! tmdaines (127) - Stretford, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2017
Classic bitter aroma. Pretty in the glass with that creamy white head and perfectly still golden body. Very smooth and refreshing to start, before bitter notes and sweeter ones fight it out. Creamy finish with a lingering bitterness. Quite impressive and up there with the best bitters I’ve had. Dal9000 (665) - Ohio, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Pulled not poured. Golden yellow with little carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Earthy
