Without a doubt, an exceptional English Mild. Tried for the first time in 2010. Golden, thin bodied but with a bold bready character.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Thankfully, this beer never changes always delivers that classic uk best bitter taste of hops blended with a subtle sweetness and still delivering a lingering soft but dry finish. Always served at its best at the White Cross Lancaster and the Stork at Conder Green

Cask @Malt & Hops, Leith [on or about 28.07.2017]. Pours golden/yellow, small white head. Nose is malty, bread, honey. Taste is more of the same.

Cask. Amber beer, with a white head. Smells malty and complex - hoppy, maybe floral but not grassy or biting. Flavours are hoppy but balanced, fairly good; wood, leather. Oily, somewhat creamy. OK.
