Our manufacturing went into maximum overdrive with kilos of dark malts, northern brewer and cascade hops. Though its flood of dark fruit flavor and hop aroma are big, this beer remains amazingly balanced and easy to drink. After a hard day of work, unwind with 3 Gear.

Not sure how long this was sitting where as the plastic ring can holder was covered in dust and tha Albeta added label is even dirtier. Still plenty of foam in the glass. Liquid is thick and brown. Aroma is plain with maybe a hint of yeast. Good body. Flavour is brown ale with a bit of sourness and dark malt with a some good back end bitterness.

Nice extra in a trade with JRB. Pours dark brown with slight reddish tinge. Thinnish barely tan head. Slight roasted chocolatey scent. Flavor is not ideal. Too bitter throughout without any sweet or roasted nuance. Thin side of medium body. Bottle - Trade from JRB

Can. Dull brown body with a short tan head. Malt syrup, Tootsie Roll, American hop resin, choco cookie cereal grain malt aroma with some acid and solvent and a metal flake note underneath the basic Dr Pepper malt core. Doughy, flabby, thin, peaked body. Astringent cola and cracker malt with lightly bitter body, thinning body and a coarse fizziness.

Can sample. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and dark aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting complex brew.

b3shine (9016) - Indiana, USA - OCT 1, 2013
16 oz can to taster. Looks good; a semi-transparent dark brown with foamy head somewhere between off-white and light beige. Smells of dark malt, dark fruit, ligght rot coffee, and some hops. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Decent beer.

gramity (1675) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 19, 2013
Aroma of cocoa and roasted malts. Taste has more chocolate - on the sweet side. Roasted malts and a grainyness.

beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Medium walnut color, small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet malty, bit of dark friut, Roasty, coffee, some chocolate - excellent. Flavor is medium roasty, coffee with pleasant roasty, grassy, earthy bitterness. Creamy leading to a Fairly dry finish. Medium to light body. This has something special - surprised and impressed.
