tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours amber and has a mild toasted caramel malt aroma. It tastes mainly of sweet, toasted malt. There’s little hops noticeable and a medium body. Decent for the style. kermis (14479) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2013

16 oz can to pint. Looks solid; a mostly transparent amberish copper with thin off-white head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells semi-sweet, malty, and slightly buttery with notes of toffee. Tastes like it smells, only less buttery, with a bit of hops. Average on the palate. Underwhelming. hotstuff (5232) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 13, 2013
Rated on 9-07-2013 at Mad Anthony OktoBEERfest (Fort Wayne) Draft - This beer pours a large creamy, smooth beige head with good retention, transparent amber body, good amount of lacing, and slow rising carbonation. The Aroma is malty, caramel, lightly hoppy, and lightly fruity. The Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, hint of toffee, banana, and lightly hoppy. The Palate is very smooth and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is very quaffable, a session beer, worth trying, and a beer that I recommend and would drink again. sudomorph (1181) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2013
Pours a crystal clear, deep amber with a half finger, off-white, frothy head that thins to a film. Light bubbles can be seen rising to the surface. Very mild lacing.
Aroma is faint with hints of bread and caramel.
Taste is a slight bitter with a short bready, malty, aftertaste.
Low-medium body and carbonation. Bubbly, slightly watery, clean mouth feel.
Overall a very drinkable beer. Tasty and refreshing. Would buy again. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
Sampled during Edmonton Craft Beer Festival at the Edmonton Expo Center pours a pale amber color with a small white head that leaves some spotty lacing behind. Aroma is light fruity with some grass and grains. Taste is a caramel and fruity malt sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. An amber ale that makes a good session ale, easy to drink. DuffMan (10596) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
